INTRODUCTION TO GEOGRAPHY
Geography is the study of the Earth’s physical features, human populations, environments, and the relationships between them. It explores both the natural environment (such as landforms, climate, and ecosystems) and the human-made environment (such as cities, infrastructure, and cultural landscapes). Geography is divided into two main branches: physical geography, which focuses on natural features and processes like weather, landforms, and ecosystems, and human geography, which examines human activities, cultures, economies, and their impact on the planet. Geography helps us understand how human societies interact with their environment and how spatial patterns develop across the globe.
