BAPTISM OF JESUS
The baptism of Jesus marks the beginning of His public ministry. It took place at the Jordan River, where John the Baptist baptized Him. As Jesus emerged from the water, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove. A voice from heaven declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). This event highlights Jesus’ humility, obedience, and divine identity.
